Nevada County Economic Resource Council (ERC) maintains a comprehensive Business Directory of employers with the products and services the businesses offer and information about the Nevada County labor market. The directory is a valuable resource for both employers and job seekers. In addition, to the Business Directory, the ERC maintains postings of job openings by employer in the area. Job seekers may also post their resume on the ERC site.
One-Stop Business & Career Center is the connection point for job seekers and employers. The Career Center offers a variety of training programs for the job seekers and provides businesses with assistance in recruiting, screening, hiring and training new employees. Information regarding career training services, transportation, the Cal WORK’s Welfare-To Work services, open job postings and employers can be found through the site.
SCORE provides counseling services to America’s small businesses. It offers forms and templates to Assist with the development of a business plan, loan applications and the analysis of one’s finances.
US Small Business Administration (SBA) offers programs and services to help you start, grow and succeed in business. It is an independent agency of the federal government that was established to aid, counsel, assist and protect the interest of small business concerns, to preserve the free competitive enterprise and to maintain and strengthen the overall economy of our nation.
