Road Biking – Peaceful, roads meander through the scenic countryside of Nevada County, making this an ideal area for road biking.  Although, not heavily trafficked, our roads are often curved and narrow so extra caution should be used.

Western Gateway Park –  87 acres of beautiful park land offers 4 ball fields, multiple picnic areas, 3 tennis courts, rustic amphitheatre, Penn Valley Pavilion, Buttermaker’s Cottage, swimming holes, fitness trail, 3 age-appropriate playgrounds, off-leash dog park, horse shoe pits, fishing, jogging area, wildlife observation and more!

South Yuba River Park – Bridgeport is the crown jewel of the South Yuba River State Park, where Gold Rush history joins nature to bring interest to every visit.  Come to Bridgeport for exploration and renewal.
